We provide music therapy to build connections

Story

We are raising money for the amazing music therapy charity Nordoff Robbins, by learning new woodwind instruments from scratch for our ABRSM Grade 2 exams in November. Nordoff Robbins do fantastic work with children and vulnerable adults so please be generous!

The Team:

Mandy MacEwanusually oboe - learning bassoon

Penny Dyer - usually bassoon - learning saxophone

Marika Nuthall - usually saxophone - learning bassoon

Olivia Wild - usually clarinet - learning oboe

Dean Wood - usually clarinet - learning bassoon

James Findlay - usually violin - learning flute

Hannah McCarthy - usually Saxophone - learning Oboe

We had originally planned to take our grade one exams however we decided to set a greater challenge by taking our grade two instead!

Any support appreciated!

Nordoff and Robbins is the UK’s largest music therapy charity, with a unique approach shaped by more than 60 years of practice. Through the power of music, it breaks through the barriers caused by life-limiting illness, disability and social isolation. The charity does this through providing music therapy to people across the UK, whilst also training the music therapists of the future and funding research to measure and improve the impact of its work.
