Torun Santa Claus Half Marathon, St Nicholas Day, Sunday 6th December 2009. Poland.

I will running this Half Marathon in aid of Global Footsteps.  Global Footsteps is an Educational & Environmental Charity promoting peoples awareness of their own impact on the environment. One of the many things they organise are youth conferences in various parts of the World. Each conference is one footstep along the Global goal of promoting our environmental message.  Many young people who cannot attend these conferences are sponsored by Global Footsteps. The last conference was in Kingston, Jamaica, twinned with Gloucester.  I have run numerous Half Marathons. Last year I ran the Berlin Half Marathon in in aid of Global Footsteps and raised: £1,200.  Twelve Hundred Pounds.  I have since run similar events in England, Wales & Scotland of which I have either run for fun or raised similar amounts for charity.  This event taking place on St. Nicholas Day, Santa-Claus, I will be running in full Father Christmas Costume.  I hope you will support me in this challenge.  Please visit the website for further details about the charity and its aims and objectives.
