Story

Life can change in a heartbeat. It can hang in the balance in the blink of an eye. It only takes one unpredictable event to start the clock ticking. A swerve in the road. A debilitating fall. A heart attack in the middle of the night. These emergencies have the power to turn lives upside down. They dont care if its night or day, or if you are alone. They dont care if time is against you. But LIVES do. We recruit, train and equip all of our Emergency Responders so they can be there when needed the most, from attending a cardiac arrest to performing life-saving surgery on the roadside they are there attending 999 medical emergencies across the whole of Lincolnshire every day. We have over 300 volunteer Emergency Responders who are based within the heart of Lincolnshires communities so they can attend the scene rapidly, arriving before an ambulance 84% of the time. Last year we attended over 11,000 incidents in Lincolnshire, our volunteers giving over 67,000 hours to saving lives.
