Story
Chris Domeney, Hounslow's Head of Youth Offending Service, unexpectedly and suddenly died in the evening of Wednesday 1st May 2019. Chris joined Hounslow in 2011 and was a hugely respected and highly valued manager whose leadership and expertise was reflected in the recent successful HMIP inspection.
Colleagues in Hounslow and across London have paid tribute to his dedication, knowledge and passion for young people involved in the criminal justice system. His death is a loss to us all.
Professionally, Chris leaves behind a significant legacy in his impact on both Hounslow and Southwark Youth Offending Services, with both undoubtedly the better for his influence and direction and the respective Local Authorities benefitting from his expertise beyond the sphere of youth justice.
Privately, Chris is survived by an extensive family network, including his children, Steve, Sean, Ben and Becky and they are understandably devastated at this extremely sad time.
In line with the wishes of Chris' family, this Just Giving page has been set up to receive donations to a local Hounslow charity - HAY (Hounslow Action for Youth) - in his name, in order that he may continue to have a positive impact on the young people of Hounslow.
