After smashing the #2000challenge in just 17days (see below)we are continuing our funraising. This time its a race between the hotshots and redditch town. Each team has to get 11 team members to the copper box/Wembley thats 96 miles by each player. With the last team there having a forfeit
Hotshots netball team and Redditch Town have teamed up to take on the 2000 challenge by the end of may.Collectively they will complete 2000km run or walk, 2000 squats, 2000 sit ups, 2000 press ups, 2000 successful netball shots and 2000 keep ups.
Hotshots raise money every year in honour of Amy Redhead, who went to school with some of the girls. She sadly lost her battle with cancer at the young age of 28. Primrose Hospice cared for her, so this year as we can;t do our tournament we are completing this challenge.
Primrose Hospice is also very close to Redditch Town, with one of the players mother's spending her last few days comforted by the hospice.
We have all been affected in some way by cancer, so this we are completing this challenge to give some thing back and honour those who have been supported by this wonderful charity.
