Story
We are climbing Mt Kilimanjaro in January to raise funds for charity. Kili is the highest mountain in Africa, with its peak reaching 5,895m (19,341ft), and the trek will take us 7 days - quite a challenge! None of us are experienced mountaineers, so we're excited but nervous. The photo is of us training together in the Peak District.
Chance for Childhood is a fantastic charity that helps the most vulnerable children in Sub-Saharan Africa: street children, children with disabilities, those affected by conflict, and children in prisons. One of their worthwhile initiatives is the rehabilitation of young offenders who have committed petty crimes to help them break out of the vicious cycle of poverty and crime. Any support you can offer us would be greatly appreciated. Donations will help motivate us to keep climbing that mountain!
