7th Horley Brownies are acting our age in all sorts of ways – some of us are using our own age, and some of us are celebrating the 61 years our Brownie pack has been running. Activities include doing 61 front flips every day for a week, running 37 miles during lock down, going without Harry Potter and Jacqueline Wilson books for 9 days, 61 different activities every day for a week (hopping, skipping, jumping…), 6100 steps ever day for a week, 9km cycle for 9 days, 61 handstands every day for a week, 61 cartwheels every day for a week.
7th Horley Rainbows have done a 32 minute Danceathon to recognice the act of the unit.
7th Guides is 69 years old so the Act Your Age challenge is to tell 69 jokes in 60 minutes on our zoom Guides on Monday 16/11. The Guides will need to be focused and well prepared, we’ve suggested training between now and then! Good luck Guides!
6th Guides are 65 years old so are creating a booklet of 65 things to do in lockdown with each girl contributing ideas such as wordsearches, recipes, origami, etc and the books will then be sold to fundraise. Can't wait to see it.
Feel free to mention who you are sponsoring in the comments and whether they are a Rainbow/Brownie or Guide.
