Hope Rescue consider the welfare of our dogs as paramount. Adaptil is a synthetic copy of the natural comforting pheromone released by a mother dog to reassure her puppies. This has been scientifically proven to  help dogs of all ages cope with challenging situations such as staying in kennels and settling in to new homes. Adaptil collars are used by leading animal welfare charities such as the Dogs Trust and Wood Green for their rescue dogs. As part of our commitment to improving the welfare of our dogs we will be fitting Adaptil collars as standard for all dogs arriving in kennels and foster homes. We will also be sending a collar out with all rehomed dogs.  

The collars are being purchased direct from Ceva Animal Health at the heavily discounted rate of £7 per collar (RRP @£20 inc VAT). We are offering our supporters the opportunity to "Sponsor An Adaptil Collar". The first 50 have arrived  (12/05/2014) and we will be promoting the sponsorship opportunity with each new order.
