We provide palliative and end of life care to people with a life-limiting illness

Story

The Rowans is our local hospice which lent a wheelchair to good friend Peter when he could no longer walk very far. It also eased the last days for fellow bowlers Rose & Jean and for cousin Jill. The staff & volunteers provide a wonderful service but need financial support to continue doing so.
The walk starts at 11pm on 20th June. We walk a lot on the bowls green, but only about half a mile per match & in daylight, not quite the 12 miles we will be walking on the Moonlight Walk.
During the afternoon the Cowplain Bowls Club will be holding the President's versus Captain's match also in aid of The Rowans.
