Freshfield is a PR and marketing communications firm, based in Winckley Square, Preston.

Our team is #WalkingFromHome while working from home this winter, to support the work of Luv Preston and their provision of food banks, parcels and support services within the community.  

Luv Preston is a local charity run by Susan and Jack McVicar which aims to love and serve the city of Preston by providing care and support to those who find themselves disadvantaged and disconnected in the community.

These volunteers do an amazing job providing a range of crucial services. These include a homeless drop-in at St Wilfrid’s Community Centre and the running of a food bank and provision of food parcels across the city.

This tough job has been made even more challenging during the pandemic.

The #WalkingFromHome concept is simple. If our team goes
go for a walk or a run during lockdown, they will keep a log of how far they have gone (in miles). On December 4, we will collate the totals and Freshfield will make a donation to Luv Preston based on that total.

We are looking forward to using our wellness activities to help raise funds.
