Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This year I’ll be running in the 40th Great North Run, in what is my 40th year on the planet. It’s not the first time I’ve done it, in fact it will be my 9th, but nonetheless it’s still a big deal for a casual runner like myself.

I’ll be running to raise money for the Dogs Trust, a charity that I’m a big fan of and I’m unashamedly asking you to sponsor me please!

In their own words, this is what they do:

“We receive no direct government funding and rely on the generosity of our supporters to help us achieve our mission.

Money raised is used to invest in our fantastic rehoming centres so that they can continue to be there for the nations dogs'; to fund preventative work to help protect dogs in the future; and to invest in, develop and promote information to help dog owners understand the needs of their pooch pals.

Help provide life changing care and forever homes for our furry friends.”

Many thanks,

Andrew
