Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page. We are London City Voices, a community choir of around 500 people based in the UK. We have recorded 'You've Got a Friend' to #SupportSurvivors and raise funds so that Women's Aid Live Chat digital service can stay open into 2021.
Phase 1 of our campaign raised nearly £42,000 via our friends, family and the general public here - www.justgiving.com/fundraising/london-city-voices and this campaign is still taking donations.
We are now launching phase 2 of our fundraising:
We are asking the property and construction sectors to support our #homeshouldbeahaven campaign.
Domestic violence is vile and the opposite of what everyone wants a "home" to mean. Home should mean comfort. It should mean safety. That is what the property sector strives to provide in the UK and we believe that you would want every woman and child to experience their home as a haven.
Before Covid-19, the Women's Aid Live Chat was already a vital lifeline for women who can't find the words or are unsure whether they are experiencing abuse or not. This support needs to continue in the coming months as social distancing limits the access women have to people, other than their abuser.
If you wish to make an offline company donation or wish to find out how you can get involved in the campaign, please email us at homeshouldbeahaven@gmail.com ....
or you can donate here on this JustGiving page.

At home shouldn't mean at risk. Please share our video and help us raise additional funds for Women's Aid.
