Story

Dementia is the UK's biggest killer. Someone develops it every three minutes and there's currently no cure.

Alzheimer's Society is the only UK charity that campaigns for change, funds research to find a cure and supports people living with dementia today.

Simon and I have had first hand experience of the effects of dementia through our Grandad John, Auntie Neta & Nanny (Brenda) who were all diagnosed later in life.

More recently our amazing mum - Josh's nan - was diagnosed with the early onset of Alzheimer's at the age of 62. Since this diagnosis in 2017 we continue to feel the devastating impact of this condition as it progresses with time.

Please help us to help Alzheimer's society in their work to find a cure for this disease whilst supporting those in need.

Alzheimer’s Society is transforming the landscape of dementia forever. Until the day we find a cure, we will create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice.
