Story
Last year while I was pregnant with our second child my handsome hunk starting peeing blood. After a variety of tests doctors found a tumour the size of an orange on one of his kidneys. 10 weeks later he underwent a full nephrectomy and the tumour was found to be cancerous. Thankfully it hasn't spread so no further treatment was needed.
Ten days after his own surgery, my man's mother passed away from stomach cancer which she had fought for a couple of years.
Then in the new year my good friend was diagnosed with thyroid cancer..she is still in the treatment process for this and has asked me to be part of her group for this event.
I've always known cancer is nasty but in the last year it's become particularly personal and I want to join the fight against it!
