Story
Hello!!
Thank you for visiting my page: it's very much appreciated!
First off, let me introduce myself. I'm Holly, I'm only 5ft tall and I'm a first year drama student at the University of Lincoln. I like eating sushi, going to festivals, reading romance novels and listening to The Beatles.
This summer, I'm volunteering abroad as part of Y Care International in the ICS scheme. ICS is a government funded project which lets young people like me go abroad and volunteer in some of the poorest countries in the world today.
I depart on the 29th June and return on the 7th September 2015. I am going to Bangladesh to work with children and young people and will be improving their communities working within schools and helping to reduce damage from natural disasters by continuing conservation work.
I need to raise a minimum of £800 fundraising money in order for me to go on my adventure. This money will NOT be paying for my travel, food, drink or medical expenses. It is to raise money for the organisation rather than me as an individual. This not only raises awareness for such a fantastic cause, but it's so other like-minded people like myself can go on in years to come to have this opportunity: it costs £7,500 to send one volunteer out to these countries!
Whatever you can afford to give, be it as little as a couple of pounds, would be a great contribution to a global organisation which does so much for people in times of crisis and in 3rd world communities. You can find out more about what Y Care International do here on their website page:

The money raised on this page doesn't go to me at all and the full amount goes directly to Y Care International making it the perfect, safe way to donate!
Make sure you look forward to many fundraising events in the upcoming weeks and keep checking back to this page for updates on how I'm doing and where I'm going!
THANK YOU SO MUCH! xXx
