We provide support to people and their families in the UK who have Phelan-McDermid Syndrome (chromosome 22q13.3 deletion). This support is provided through information, therapies and financial grants, and by organising family days and get-togethers. Thank you for supporting PMSF UK.

Story

The family at 12 Hillway have been lighting up the Holly Lodge Estate every Christmas for the past decade. They put the lights up every year for local children big and small to enjoy.  The lights are on now through 1 January 2021.  If you would like to show appreciation to the family  please donate to this page for 2 charities which support local residents in the community who have rare debilitating genetic conditions - Phelan-McDermid Syndrome Foundation UK and Reverse Rett.

PMSF UK will divide the donations equally between both charities in honour of the Christmas Lights at 12 Hillway.
Thank you for your support.

Lotta is 11yrs old lives locally and has Rett Syndrome. Rett Syndrome affects young girls and they lose their ability to speak, mobility and use of their hands. Gene therapy can reverse this debilitating disease and funding raised will go to research. Lotta loves the Christmas Lights at 12 Hillway, it brings her great joy.

Gibson is 16yrs old and also lives locally, he has Phelan-McDermid Syndrome (PMS) that affects communication, mobility and cognitive development. He will need 24hr care his whole life. PMSF UK provides support for people who have this rare genetic condition. Gibson loves the bright lights on Hillway and is an important part of his Christmas season.
