Story
Becs and myself have decided to stop stuffing our faces, a hobby which you all know we throughly enjoy (as you can see and probably know), and don our running shoes to take part in this years British London 10k to help raise money for The Salvation Army. We've actually been training and everything, pounding the streets of Surrey Quays and Camberwell respectively, much to the disgust of many a friend and co-worker. Oh, and our feet and nails are ruined as a result of said training....Nice.
We are specifially running for a Salvation Army centre that helps women and children fleeing domestic violence and acts as a lifeline for many families and single women, a cause close to us both. They carry out some amazing work and any money you can donate will got help their ongoing programme of work.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Salvation Army gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
Please sponsor now, and if you really fancy a laugh come and watch us attempt to complete the course on Sunday 6th July...preferably with a large glass of Pinot Grigio at the finishing line...!
