Story

Thanks for visiting my JustGiving Page and donating money towards my half marathon for PAPYRUS, it is all much appreciated.

Suicide is a serious health problem that effects youth between the ages of 10 and 24. It is the third leading cause of death and results in approximately 4600 lives lost each year. The charity was started by a mother and a small group of parents who had all lost a child to suicide and believed that many young suicides are preventable.
They operate a HOPELine which is a freephone national confidential line staffed by trained professionals providing practical advice, support and information to anyone concerned that someone they know is feeling suicidal or the person themselves. It only costs £15 for a 20 minute call for a person who maybe in distress or feeling suicidal. Your donations can save lives.

In March i lost a friend and an incredible man to suicide. Although he wasn't young, PAPYRUS try to prevent people getting to the stage my friend did in later life. The charity don't just help the person in need they also help the family and friends with how to deal with it but also how to cope with the loss of that person.

It really is an amazing charity and is run purely on the money people donate so please give all you can and donating with JustGiving is so easy, fast and secure and all money is given to the charity no one else.
