Story
After years of suffering from excruciating headaches, in 2015 I was admitted to hospital after no longer being able to cope with the pain of daily headaches and visual distortion. After CT Scans and MRIs a neurologist informed me I had evidence of multiple TIAS (Mini strokes) due to high blood pressure. I was 30 and had never considered that within a matter of days I could of suffered a full stroke. I have been lucky.
Over the next three months I will be running in seven events to raise money for those less fortunate:
Tough Mudder Classic, Leeds 10k, The Great North Run and Oxford Half Marathon, 2 5k races and a 10k race.
Up until 12 months ago I could not contemplate running 1k without stopping let alone 21, so this is going to take some effort, but all for a great cause.
