Those of you close to me know that I am a carer for my beautiful friend Michele. 

At the age of 59 Michele was diagnosed with plural and peritoneal Mesothelioma and told that she had just months to live. Michele has always been known as someone who truly believes that "the show must go on" so she pulled up her socks, put on her makeup and has been fighting this awful cancer, reaching amazing milestones along the way. She is now 62 and been told that no further treatment is available for her. For many this news is hard to accept, however for Michele it is a relief, it has been such a hard fight but even today she has grace, beauty and humour. She is such a wonderful sole and someone who when the time comes to say goodbye will be greatly missed not only by myself but all the wonderful people who love her.

Michele has over the years raised so much money for charity, even preforming for Mesothelioma UK, so now its my turn to take the baton for her and run raising as much money as I can so hopefully one day a cure is found and others can keep their loved ones.
