Story

As some of you may know my Nan passed away suddenly in 2011. My Nan was my absolute world and I miss her every day, I am so happy to be able to do this for her. Nanny Wendy could never do enough for anyone especially myself and my brother Joe, she made every event so special and I will never forget that. As I have got older I feel so sad that I don’t have the opportunity to treat her to nice things and take her to nice places like she did for us. To be able to run the London Marathon for a charity that is so close to our families hearts especially my Nanny’s is such an honour and I finally feel like I have given something back to her, even though she will not be there on run day I know she will always be with me which will be my motivation throughout.

Unfortunately I never got to meet my Grandad Paul who unfortunately passed away with cancer. My grandad was due to go in to St Luke’s hospice however he unfortunately passed away before he would be moved there. The love and support St Luke’s gave to my Nan was incredible and made such an extremely tough situation a little bit easier and I will be forever grateful.

Any donations however big or small will be greatly appreciated for an incredible cause. Thank you for taking time to visit my page 💛
