We work to prevent breast cancer to stop women, and men, being diagnosed.

Story

So... late 2014 my  Mum was diagnosed with Grade 2 Breast Cancer and has undergone invasive surgery to remove the tumour and is currently waiting to start her 6 month chemo regime followed by  3 week Radiotherapy sessions. Although her prognosis is incredibly positive and the future looks bright, this isn't always the case and this is why I decided to do something to raise money for the charity Breast Cancer UK. The 6 month chemo regime will be a long slog and during this time I wanted to push myself and train for the Bupa London 10K. However, I am not alone in my madness, Adelaide, Laura and Beth jumped on the bandwagon and between the four of us I'm sure motivation will remain steady-despite one of us being in Australia for the training programme. Any support and donations for this amazing cause would be greatly appreciated. The event isn't until May 25th but I thought I'd raise awareness for fundraising as early as possible to see how much we can raise- also if I post it publicly I can't back out now... Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page; much love.
