Swansea Bay 10K 2012 · 23 September 2012 ·

Every day 250 people in the UK start losing their sight. With your help, we can be there when people need us most, support independent living, create an inclusive society and prevent avoidable sight loss. Every pound you raise will help create a future where sight loss is no longer a barrier.

Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My Grandad Leslie Millward was a big supporter of the Royal National Institute of Blind People as they provided him with lots of support throughout his life as a partially sighted person.

He died suddenly on 25th May 2012 from various illnesses and I am therefore running the Swansea Bay 10K in September in memory of him.  I want to raise lots of money in his memory so that the charity can continue to support people like him.  I've been training hard and I'm ready for the challenge so any donations you can spare will be greatly appreciated.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
