Story
As many of you know, my husband Glen spent his final days at Myton Hospice in Coventry. They delivered excellent care not only to Glen but also to us as a family, including our parents and our wonderful son Samuel. Our aim is to raise funds for the hospice to continue to deliver much needed care to other families.
A group of us will be walking/dancing/running 5k around Coventry City Centre as part of an 80s themed party to celebrate The Myton Hospices 40th birthday. Keep an eye out for pictures of us dancing in the aftermath of the colour paint throw dressed in neon, glow sticks in hand! Glen would be proud!!
“At The Myton Hospices we believe that everyone matters for every single moment of their life; we focus on enhancing life when cure is no longer an option. We are leaders in compassionate end of life care; our work centres on our patients and involving them in decisions about their care. Perhaps most importantly we give them more quality time with their loved ones.Last year we supported more than 1,800 people and their families, in our three hospices, via our patient & family support services, and in the community through Myton at Home.”
