So everybody... You may have heard me trumpeting about my plans to shave my head and donate my hair in honour of Macmillan's brilliant work (an idea that sprung to mind when my friend Jake kindly allowed me to interview him for my dissertation on Leukeamia and the Immune system). 

Surprisingly perhaps i'm actually going to put my money where my mouth is and do the big shave on Jan 2nd 2012, the day before I go to India. However, my initial fundraising ideas have changed a little. I had planned to donate the hair itself to a wig making charity but a little research revealed most of these to be a bit dodgy, instead I have opted to sell my hair privately and donate this money aswell thus getting the fund-raising ball rolling... I also pledge a commemorative "Three Bald Dawsons Commemorative Photo" to all who donate and who wouldn't want to see our 3 shiny heads done up like Christmas puddings?
