Holly's fundraising for Anthony Nolan

Cotswold Half Ironman · 5 August 2018
It’s been a year since I was sat in a hospital bed donating stem cells to an anonymous recipient with blood cancer.
A year since I started raising awareness for what Anthony Nolan do (see the end of this post for more info).
A year since I realised how a small amount of time, a little bit of back ache and copious amounts of smiles can have the potential to save someone’s life.
As such over the summer of 2018 I am taking part in a selection of events to raise money and awareness of what Anthony Nolan do. To add someone to the register alone costs £40.
If you haven't already signed up to the register, this is your reminder! After my donation last year over 50 people told me the signed up, could you be the next new hero?! You can sign up here: (https://www.anthonynolan.org/)
Events:
Wimbledon Half Marathon - 3rd June
New forest Olympic triathlon -17th June
Cotswold Half Ironman -5th August
Any pennies, pounds or willingness to do a lifesaving mouth swab welcome! Any suggestions on other events that you would like a buddy for, let me know.
It's time to give as many people as we can a second chance at life.
Thank you!

What do Anthony Nolan do?
Every day, Anthony Nolan saves the lives of people with a blood cancer or blood disorder. They do this by matching incredible individuals willing to donate their stem cells, to people who desperately need a lifesaving transplant. They also carry out cutting edge scientific research, fund specialist post-transplant nurses and support patients and their families through the transplant process and beyond. They won’t stop until they save the lives of everyone who needs a stem cell transplant. Every penny you donate brings them closer to that day.
