Leamington Half…  just a few weeks to go!

I’m not as fit as I should be & not loving running as much as I used to since developing exertion headaches and having to slow my pace down, but I haven’t missed one yet! 

So this year I’ll be slow, but I’m proud to support the amazing sponsors Myton Hospices, who require 10.5m fundraising a year, to continue to provide their services, for free. I’m sure this incredible, locally Hospice is close to many of your hearts, having cared for loved ones, including our beautiful friend Laura in 2018. 

She was an extremely strong and inspiring women, who lost her long, hard battle with breast cancer, the same disease that sadly also took her mum. She was so brave & kept a blog & wrote other forms of media with an ambition to raise awareness while she felt well enough. Many friends were totally over the moon to be part of her beautiful wedding day to her soulmate, Sam, unconditionally by her side throughout her fight. The special day is such a cherished memory for us all. 

Thank you Sam for supporting this decision. It’s an absolute honour to run in her memory.
