Hi guys, 

Next summer (2013), I will be travelling to Colombo, in Sri Lanka, along with 9 others, with Lasallian Developing World Projects. 

Our group will be living in an educational centre in a run-down part of Colombo, the capital, where will hold English classes with the students on job training courses (even basic English is an advantage in a country where there are two major local languages), and will also be helping in local playschools, running activities and introducing the children to elementary english. In addition to this, we will be do some manual work, helping in either construction or refurbishment of the buildings. 

Each member has to raise £1,100 to cover travel and living expenses, as well as contributing to the cost of building materials, and any donation would be greatly appreciated,
