Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I wanted to challenge myself to run as many kilometres as possible during the 2020 Covid-19 lockdown, and raise money for the church I attend, St. Mary's in Swanley. 

Churches in the UK are facing a financial crisis at the moment because all their methods of generating income (e.g. the collection plate, hiring out the church hall, coffee mornings, etc...) have suddenly had to stop. Churches still have large expenses during this time (e.g. churchyard maintenance, heating, organ tuning, etc...), so I wanted to do some personal fundraising to help my lovely church at such a difficut time. 

Other people have since expressed an interest in donating to this cause. Although this was never my original intention I think it would be massively appreciated by the church. I understand that families everywhere are experiencing their own financial nightmares at the moment too, but if you would like to sponsor my efforts please feel free to donate any amount.
