Story
Right then, here we go!
Last year in June 2018 my mum was diagnosed with bowel and liver Cancer and it was honestly hand on heart the hardest day of my life when she told me. My mum is called Lesley and is a massive fighter, always got a smile on her face through-out anything! She is 54 and her birthday is July 31st. I love this women with every bone of my body. She still has been going to work as well which is incredible! To see someone you love so much go through this is beyond words to even describe. We all know someone as well who been through this or is going through it. And to see my own mum cry, well I can’t handle it like! Just want to be able to take all the pain and cancer away from her but I feel so helpless. I honestly don’t know how she does it and still has a smile on her face! Watching her going through chemotherapy is so hard as well, being sick, not eating, the lot! But she’s a scouser! And scousers fight, we go over the hurdles not around them!
So, here’s the crazy bit. Both me and my mum are massive Evertonians. She’s been to countless games, including the 1995 FA Cup Final game! Myself being a season ticket holder for about 14 years now as well. My mum thinks I’m crazy for doing this but I think it’s a great way to raise money for such a great charity! I’ve decided to get a Liverpool FC tattoo, crazy yeah! But there’s bigger things to worry about in this World so what harm can this do? I’m doing it because I want to raise money for this charity, so it will be the Liverbird with the eternal flames each side with 96 at the bottom! Evertonian through and through and I’m getting this! All for a reason though!
Please donate as much as you can to this please! It’s happening 100%!
It’s time we all stand up to cancer and beat its arse!
