Hi I am off school at the moment due to the Covid pandemic. I am up to date with all my school work and I’ve been collecting for the local foodbank but I wanted to do something more. Some of my neighbours and relatives work for WWL trust so I wanted to fundraise for one of their charities.

There are some amazing causes but the one I feel most about is the neonatal and children’s wards.

I had had many ideas for fundraising and wanted a challenge so I have chosen 10,000 sit ups in a month - I don’t think I usually do even ten in a month!

I will record my attempt via time lapse for everyone to see.

Our Trusts charity is called Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh Health Services Charity, or Three Wishes. Three Wishes was established as a registered charity (Registered Charity Number 1048659) to provide additional support, with a real focus on the patient experience. The corporate mission of Three Wishes is:to further improve the quality of patient care, through staff training, purchasing medical equipment and enhancing the patient environment and experience. This is achieved through the generosity of the general public and by fundraising activities, events and appeals.The Charity makes the most of every last penny and is very grateful for the support and generosity of our donors and the tireless efforts of fundraising volunteers and supporters who give their time and effort to help us.Our Children and Babies Fund supports work on Rainbow Ward - our children's ward which cares for babies through to teenagers, Neonatal Ward, caring for premature babies and Paediatric A & E.
