Story
when I was pregnant with my twins in 2015, at 23 weeks, I was told that I had a high stage cancer! I was advice to terminate my pregnancy immediately and to begin an intense course of chemotherapy because my risks of survival were already at a minimal. I was absolutely distraught and made the decision to keep my babies and give them a chance of living. I managed to get my twins to 29 weeks before I was forced to give birth via c section. The babies struggled so much. It was the hardest thing having to watch them fight for life all because of me and my stupid cancer, they were so innocent and tiny. I didn't have time to recover from my section, I had to begin chemotherapy right away and wow was that a struggle. My body was struggling as I fought for my life.
So why mummy's star? Well they were like a guardian angel who had all the answers and support possible. I had expert nurses for my cancer, expert nurses for my pregnancy, but nobody understood what it was like to have both at the same time. Mummy's star offered this and I can't help them enough. They supported me emotionally, financially and everything else you can imagine.
Mummy's star really deserve the recognition.. they help so many women every single day and believe me it is absolutely life changing for us all.
This is going to be a massive struggle for me because I am suffering from many side effects of my cancer with a crushed wind pipe being one of them. This is why I need all of the support possible! Even if I crawl there.... I owe them the world!
