Story

Hello, Viv here. I work for Harrisons Homes Estate Agents in Sittingbourne.

I thought with new year and new starts and all that, I would do something to improve my fitness but also give something back to this amazing charity. I have decided to walk 100 miles in 30 days to raise some money for the charity holding on letting go!

Holding On Letting Go is a Kent-based charity that helps children to cope with the death of someone close to them.

Harrison homes have been supporting this charity for nearly 2 years and raised nearly £15k.

Personally I have dealt with the death of my own brother, whom had a very young son at the time of his death. I believe charities like these are crucial in supporting grieving families.

My aim is to raise a minimum of £500.
Any amount u can donate would be appreciated immensely and I would be every so grateful.

I will be tracking my progress on Strava and give u all regular updates.
And starting 10th January and finishing on the 8th February.

Wish me luck!

Much love Viv xx

About the charity

Holding On Letting Go supports bereaved children, young people, and their families after the death (or anticipated death) of someone close to them. We help each child "hold on" to precious memories of their loved one, while "letting go" of any painful emotions surrounding their bereavement.
