Holding Little Hands was set up as a charity one year ago to provide play, treats and extras for children on Padua ward at the William Harvey Hospital. 

So far, we have been working with the play team, having music sessions and stories on the ward, and distracting children having blood tests by providing virtual reality goggles!

We are excited to now work with East Kent Hospitals Charity to continue to fundraise for play on Padua ward. 

Being admitted to hospital can be a frightening experience for all ages of children and their families and we want to expand our remit to provide relief and entertainment for older children and adolescents, as well as continue musical bumps classes for the younger children admitted to ward.
