Hogs For GOSH | Geek Out For GOSH

Hello everyone. My name is Bobby Gotelee.
I have been supporting Great Ormond Street for over 6 years, through my workplace Premier Inn. Within that time I have done a marvel array of events, from car washes and bucket stints to "24 hours in bed" and walking challenges. During my time with Premier Inn I have managed to raise over £7,500 for the charity thus far.
During the course of the pandemic (Covid-19), I have had to mainly take my charity work to online resources. Something I wasn't sure would go very well.
However this next challenge, I'm going to undertake, is a first for me.
Most of my gaming friends know me best as a connoisseur of one particular game - 'Hogs of War'.
Hogs of War is a turn-based strategy game in which you take control of a small squad of troops to defeat the opposing teams. Very similarly to the Worms franchise if anyone has palyed that particular set of games.
However in this 2 day event, I'm going to be attempting something I have never done before - I'm going to be attempting to complete the game 100%. Now this will be done over the course of 2 days.
Day 1 will be 100% on Normal Mode. And Day 2 will be 100% on Hard Mode.
Now, it should be said, I have never completed the game 100%, legitimately. So that is my plan, for this event.

I'm Geeking out for GOSH and taking on a gaming challenge to raise money for the seriously ill children and their families at Great Ormond Street Hospital. They need us now, more than ever. For any parent, it is a worrying time when your child needs hospital treatment. But if your child is seriously ill, in the middle of a pandemic, this is even more daunting. With infection control restrictions on parents staying with their children, worry around travelling safely to and from hospital and being treated by staff in protective clothing, what is already a stressful time is even more challenging.
Your support could help fund services like the hospitals incredible Play team, Social Work Service and multi-faith chaplaincy team, as well as funding family accommodation so mums and dads stay near their children. It'll also keep me going and give me the power-up I need to complete this challenge. Its quick, easy and secure to donate, just press the give now button on the right. Thanks!
