A UNIQUE GIVING EXPERIENCE TO SUPPORT PRISONERS' EDUCATION TRUST
During the first Lockdown of 2020, staff at HMP Manchester, invited prisoners to write about their experiences during this difficult and unique time.
Their aim now, is to use their writing talents in a booklet containing their work to raise money for PET, Prisoner’s Education Trust. PET is charity dedicated to transforming the lives of prisoners though education. PET funds over 150 courses in prisons across England and Wales that are not usually available in prison.
The first 450 people donating a minimum of £6 to PET through this page will get a copy of this unique 127-page booklet. The cost of posting the booklet will be taken from your donation.
In ‘WRITE INSIDE’ are first-hand accounts of what it was like during the initial Covid Lockdown in HMP Manchester. It includes some excellent insights into the feelings of those experiencing this stressful time and moving stories about the lives of men serving sentences in one of Manchester’s most notorious institutions. More surprisingly, in this publication, you will find some excellent poetry, letters, illustrations, fictional short stories and book reviews.
Please support a charity which transforms the lives of prisoners through learning and as a result, benefits us all.
PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU OPT IN TO SHARE YOUR DETAILS WITH HMP MANCHESTER.
WE WILL ONLY USE THEM TO SEND YOU THE BOOKLET.
