When you think of Christmas, what’s the first thing that comes to mind?
Turkey?
Tinsel?
Presents?
For me, it’s the chance to go out and find the latest festive knit that’s on offer ahead of Christmas Jumper Day.
Here at Home Leisure Direct, we get involved with Christmas Jumper Day each year as a fun and festive way for our staff to get their Christmas spirit on, as well as the perfect time to raise as much money as we can for a good cause.
Whether it be anxiety, depression, OCD or more, approximately 1 in 4 people in the UK experience a mental health problem each year. MIND aims to tackle that by offering help and support to those individuals, as well as continually try and gain backing and support from UK government.
Andy was really pleased when we announced which charity we would be supporting this Christmas Jumper Day. “We love getting Christmas jumper day, we had some real crackers last year! Supporting MIND this year is close to many of our hearts, so we’ll be digging deep to support them all we can.”
The HLD team will be raising money here at our Bristol showroom, but we would also be hugely grateful if you could lend your support to raising money for what we think is a much needed organisation helping to tackle one of the biggest issues that most of us face to this day. We know it’s an expensive time of year, with Christmas looming just around the corner. But no matter how big or small the donation, your money really can help.
Support us by donating today!
With so many amazing charities out there, it’s always a tough decision as to who we should support. This year we have chosen to raise funds for MIND, a national charity that raises awareness, and offers information and advice to individuals suffering with mental health problems.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
