Story

Story

Our fifth annual fundraising walk for the Teenage Cancer Trust will take place on Saturday, 2nd May. We will start from Canary Wharf, walking to Greenwich, east along the south bank of the Thames Tower Bridge. Then we pick up part of last year's walk to Limehouse basin where we will follow the canal northward through Mile End and into Victoria Park. From here we will make our way to The Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and then back to Canary Wharf.

Our walk started four years ago following the death of Jack Chester a former pupil of Campion School.

Jack joined the sixth form in 2007. He quickly became fully involved in the school but 6 months later, he was diagnosed with cancer. Jack always wanted to help others. His work for the Teenage Cancer Trust (TCT) was outstanding. Everywhere Jack went, he made an impression. Football managers and players and rock stars all succumbed to the charm and wit of this incredible young man. Jack died in September 2010.In Jack's memory, we have organised our walks and other events and raised over £100,000 for the Teenage Cancer Trust.

Please help us to continue our support of the Teenage Cancer Trust with your sponsorship.
