Hilary's St Barnabas Fire Walk page

St Barnabas Hospice is a local independent charity who supports more than 10,500 people across Lincolnshire with a life-limiting or terminal illness each year. They deliver free, high-quality, compassionate end-of-life care and support to patients, their families and carers. They aim to enable them to live as fully as they are able for however many days, weeks or months they have left. They are reliant on the financial support the community provides, to be there for more patients, their families and carers, every day of the year.
In August 2018 and again in November 2019, the St Barnabas teams were there to support my husband Jon, and then my father Bob to spend the remaining hours of their lives at home with family around them. The team were also there to support myself and my Mum. They all work tirelessly , without rushing those in need of their time.
During our 40 years together, Jon organised many adrenaline activities for me to achieve, from flying a plane to driving fast cars and monster trucks. Fire walking is the type of challenge he would have arranged for me. So I want to achieve this in loving memory of Jon and my Dad. £100 will provide much needed support for a family for 7 hours. Please support me in any way you possibly can.
Many thanks
Hilary
