During Harry's Barmitzvah year we have chosen to support two charities that will help our baby cousin Dexter, who we call Dexy.  Dexter was born on 10 February 2010 and he has Down’s Syndrome. 

Being born with a difference can make life more difficult for Dexter and his family.  There are many charities that do outstanding work and do not have enough financial support.  

Dexy is funny he makes us smile, his eyes light up when he sees us and we have taught him to high 5.  He likes to be played with and makes lots of noise to get attention.  He has strong legs and likes standing and doing row, row the boat. One of Harry's favourite things is that Dexy loves playing on the iPad (see photo). Jack loves to make him shake his head to nod and say no.

We know we can only help make a small donation towards a very large budget but every little helps.  To raise money we hope you will sponsor us on a charity bike ride, organised by Norwood who have kindly allowed us to raise funds for both Norwood and Barnet Mencap via their event.  We will be riding 10 miles on 19 June 2011.
