Macmillan a charity that has supported so many people we know needs our help. They are currently having to cut services due to a fundraising crisis so desperately need our help to carry on with the amazing work they do.

In July I will be joining with friends to take on the Peak District Mighty Hike. It would be brilliant if you could encourage me along by donating what you can.

We have started our training today with an 8.5 mile hike to Ashton Court. There was plenty of chat to distract us and we may have stopped for tea and cake to fuel us on the way but a great start.

Together with my friends we hope to raise £1750 , which can pay for Macmillan Nurse for seven days. This could provide people living with cancer and their families essential medical, practical and emotional support.

There are currently 3 million people living with cancer in the UK today. It's Macmillan's goal to be there for everyone from the moment of diagnosis, but they can't do this without donations from people like you.
