Story

#teampurple + High Street TV is taking on the Great North Run in September! We’re asking our supporters to raise a minimum of £300 each, as a team this would give us a total of £1500 which could help provide 30 one-to-one bereavement sessions for adults, young people or children experiencing grief during coronavirus with one of our support specialists. Restrictions mean many people are not able to be with loved ones at the point of their death, to hold them or say goodbye. Even funerals have been affected, which can have a profound effect on bereaved families and people. Being able to access specialist support at this most difficult of times is vital to allow people to process and manage their grief.

Hospice Care never stops, 365 days a year, come rain or shine, amid periods of calm and during challenging times, our dedicated and professional team continue to offer our communities compassionate and highly skilled end of life care. Our services are provided free of charge and we rely on the support of our community, to continue providing this special care, thank you. Your support will be helping ensure we can continue to be there for local families during a very difficult time.
