As part of the highly popular Fantasy Premier League competition, I am setting up a High Peak mini-league to raise money for the men’s mental health charity, Mentell.

Mentell is a charity that helps more men talk about their mental health, by providing free, confidential circles for men over the age of 18 to talk, share and listen.

Those interested can make a suggested donation of £5 to take part in the league and compete over a football season against other High Peak residents (including their local MP) with the proceeds going to Mentell. 

There will also be a prize for the manager with the most points at the end of the season.

Mental Health is an issue close to my heart. Setting up a Fantasy Football League for High Peak residents will be a fun way to raise money and awareness of Mentell’s extraordinary work.

I hope that this fundraising effort can help to challenge the stigma surrounding mental health, while supporting a charity that offers crucial support to those who have suffered in silence for too long.
