Julian House needs your help to rebuild lives this Christmas.
2020 has made many of us feel vulnerable, but for the people we support this is nothing new.
Even before COVID-19 arrived most of the people in our care were vulnerable and often isolated from mainstream society. The pandemic made their situation even more stressful and, in many cases, riskier. This was especially true for those without a home, experiencing domestic abuse, struggling with addiction and/or mental health issues.
The pandemic has also had a devastating effect on Julian Houses voluntary income at a time when the demand for our services has increased. With fundraising events being cancelled and our charity shops and bike workshops having to close temporarily, we are expecting a loss of £200,000. Vital voluntary income needed to fund our life-saving services.
