Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

A picture with Stan is the key theme of our fundraiser (it's a long story). See us at the Old Peacock Saturday 21st August pre and post match. We will collect donations with the pictures with Stan loaded onto our dedicated Facebook page. We are also running a branch evening with music from Centenary Whites Friday 20th August in Harrogate including the opportunity for a picture with Stan. To round off our weekend of fundraising we are holding the Stan Bowles Charity Pairs at Black Swan Bowling Club, Harrogate on Sunday 22nd August. Harrogate Amateur Bowling Association clubs kindly providing donations towards this event.

If you cannot make these but wish to support us please make a donation using this site or on our Facebook Page @StanBowlesHarrogateLUSC - we have raised £969 to date (3rd August 2021) from sales of Dave Rowson's book 'We're not Leeds, we ARE Leeds! plus donations from A picture with Stan.

As well as Stan Bowles ex Leeds players Jack Charlton, Frank Worthington, Gordon McQueen and others such as Nobby Stiles, Jeff Astle have been impacted so please support us if you can.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
