Story
Caroline Marsh, together with Aidan Wright, Theo Vicary, Ben Counsell, Ben Duckworth, staff, friends and family from Hft Cheshire & Merseyside, is taking part in Hft's Walk & Talk event on 25 September, to help celebrate Hft's 60th birthday and support adults in our area with learning disabilities.
As well as the Walk, our Cluster Team Manager, Lyndsay, is taking on a skydive challenge earlier in the month.
All funds raised will go directly towards supporting the work of Hft Cheshire & Merseyside.
To give you some context, your sponsorship could pay for:
- £20 could go towards a bowling trip for four people with learning disabilities who are part of our friendship service Luv2meetU.
- £50 could help someone with a learning disability and their family feel less alone by paying for a specialist workshop where they'll learn how to access the support they need.
- £100 could help give someone the tools they need to communicate with others e.g. a communication aid that makes common phrases just one button press away.
