Alhamdulillah we have reached our target of £10,000 to build four classrooms.

I've increased the target by £1,000 to gather funds to: 
A) further improve the facilities of the classrooms, and
B) for maintenance of the three classrooms we built last year inshaAllah.

Halal Food Diary have partnered with Muslim Hands to build four classrooms in Pakistan. All the schools we are supporting are in desperate need of additional classrooms, as currently the students have to study in open air due to lack of classroom space.

Cost of each classroom: £2,500

Classroom no.1 & 2: GGPS Chandali, Gujranwala, Punjab
120 students at this school, but all classrooms are in critical danger so the students study in open air. After constructing these 2 classrooms, all children can study inside a safe classroom, and 50 more students can be enrolled.

Classroom no.3: GMPS Naulanwali, Gujranwala, Punjab
There are currently 5 classrooms for 380 students, but all are very old. This classroom will mean lessons are less crowded, and will allow 45 more students to be enrolled.

Classroom no.4: GGPS Tatha Gulab Singh, Gujranwala, Punjab
There are only 2 classrooms for 130 students - this classroom will mean classes are less crowded, and will allow 40 more students to be enrolled.

If we raise additional funds, we will put them towards furnishing the classroom and providing learning equipment.
