Story

Thanks for visiting my JustGiving page.

In 2006 I walked from home to Wembley and from there to Frankfurt for England's opening match in the 2006 World Cup. I made the journey to honour the dream of our younger son Tim, who imagined making the trip when he was seriously ill in the months before he died of acute lymphoblastic leukaemia.

Fast forward 8 years and I'm making another journey to Germany. This time by bike from the QE hospital in Birmingham where Jonjo Rooney had his transplant to Hamelin to fulfil his dream to visit the home town of his stem cell donor.

For me it's a 500 mile bike ride in memory of our sweet son and to raise money to beat blood cancer and help more young people have the chance to make their dreams come true.

Thank you for your kind support.
