In April 2024 I am taking on a challenge of mental and physical endurance by Trekking with 36 others through the Colombian Rainforest to The Lost City of Teyuna.

Having volunteered with Salisbury's Hospital Radio Odstock for a number of years, I've been lucky enough to see some of the amazing work that the Stars Appeal do for our local hospital. They go above and beyond what the NHS can fund to improve patients' experiences in the hospital, from funding additional MRI scanners to reduce patient waiting times, to providing free accommodation for new parents with babies in the neonatal unit. I am one of the lucky ones who has never needed a long stay in hospital, but I have many loved ones who have benefitted from the work of the Stars Appeal, whether it's the free Wi-Fi or the emergency toiletry kit. Every penny makes a difference and goes straight to the Stars Appeal, so please do give generously!
