The Norfolk Wildlife Trust have launched their £1 million land purchase appeal to acquire the 655 acres of Hickling Broad. Hickling broad is the largest of over 40 Norfolk and Suffolk broads and is one of the UK's most important wetlands. This is the first time in 200 years this land has come up for sale.

As part of the Norfolk Wildlife Trust's Fundraising week 27th February - 3rd March we are raffling a £200.00 gift voucher that can be used against any holiday or day hire here at Herbert Woods. For every £1 you donate you will receive 1 entry into the draw. Donations need to be made by the 24th March and the winner will be chosen at random.

Norfolk Wildlife Trust is the oldest Wildlife Trust in the UK, founded in 1926 to safeguard a single Nature Reserve, Cley Marshes. Today we care for over 50 nature reserves and other protected sites, restoring and reconnecting vital habitats for our wildlife and for people to enjoy.
